Longjing, also known as Dragon Well, is the most famous Chinese green tea from Hangzhou. Skillfully pan-fried flat, sword-shaped leaves, which are hand-picked very early in spring, have a sweet floral and vegetal flavour, a smooth texture with nutty and roasted notes. The aroma is refreshing with a hint of orchid, fresh grass and chestnut; the flavour is crisp and clean.
